Active Parenting Publishers is looking to partner with our best parent-education advocates in an effort to train more leaders and offer you more exposure. We are specifically looking for active leaders who can provide a training site for our Leader Training Workshops (LTWs) one or more times a year.

If our goal as parent educators is to have quality training and materials available to all who need them, then our goal must also be to provide the training that creates motivated leaders on the local level.

By volunteering a workshop site you will gain more exposure as a community leader and parent-education advocate. You will also earn a product credit of $25 per paid participant that can be used to purchase any Active Parenting product on this list. Of course, this is also a convenient way to train your own staff and colleagues with limited effort and expense. (Note: Minimum of 8 registrants required for a workshop to be held.)

As a partner, your organization would provide the following:

• Training space a minimum of one day a year and light refreshments for 10 to 30 participants (This location needs to have lunch facilities or restaurants nearby.)
• All audio-visual equipment (TV, DVD player, overhead projector, screen, flip chart)
• Shared promotion of the training

Active Parenting would provide the following:

• The trainer
• All training materials
• The handling of registrations and confirmations
• Shared promotion of the training
• Free training for one member of your organization
• A credit of $25 per paid participant to your organization (to be used for Active Parenting proprietary products)

This arrangement will be a "win-win" partnership for both you and Active Parenting. With limited effort and expense, you can provide an excellent training opportunity for your staff and other helping organizations, strengthen your position as a leader in parent education and family support, and increase funding for your own parent education efforts.
