Part 2 – Active Parenting 4th Ed. Leader Training Workshop is a self-study course exploring the Active Parenting 4th Edition program in depth. (Program kit is not included.) You will learn how to present the concepts, how to guide parent discussions, and how to run the experiential activities. It takes 30 hours to complete this segment, including reading assignments. Thirty clock hours are awarded upon successful completion of this edition of Part 2. See details.

What do I need for this class?
The Online Leader Training Workshop is conducted entirely via the Internet. You will need:
- A computer or laptop with sound
- Internet connection
- Time to complete the class within 60 days
- A desire to learn valuable new skills

When does my class start?
After registering for the OLTW, you will receive login information via email within two business days. It will be sent to the email you provide during checkout.
(Note: you must complete your OLTW within 60 days of registration or a reactivation fee of $49 will be required to gain another 30 days of enrollment.
Earn Continuing Education (CE) credit
Earn clock hours with leader training. Active Parenting Publishers has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5192. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Active Parenting Publishers is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.
Become a certified leader
Once you’ve completed Part 2 of the OLTW, you can become an Active Parenting certified leader by holding a complete Active Parenting class and sending us the evaluations from your class, along with your self-evaluation. When all steps are complete, we will certify you as an Active Parenting leader. Contact the Training Manager at 800-825-0060 x3 for more information.
Of course, you may continue to hold parenting classes even if you choose not to become certified.
