Teens in Action one-day Leader Training Workshop

This leader training workshop explores the Teens in Action character education course for ages 11-16. Teens in Action is also used as part of the comprehensive Active Parenting of Teens: Families in Action video and discussion program. You’ll learn tips and techniques for leading family education courses in general, plus you’ll gain an understanding of the contents and principles of the program.This workshop will help you teach:

  • five key qualities of character
  • how to get along with parents
  • the Spiral of Success
  • how to communicate effectively with peers, parents, and other adults
  • freedom and responsibility: two sides of the same coin
  • understanding consequences
  • the Think-Feel-Do Cycle
  • 10 strategies for avoiding danger
  • how to cope with bullying and relationship violence
  • how to avoid problems with sexuality, tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs
